He moved away for his undergraduate and graduate studies with the plan of eventually returning to work in the community in which he grew up. He has worked in a private practice setting for the past five years, with the last two seeing him function as a clinical psychologist. He and his wife, Brittany, who is also pursuing a career in clinical psychology, have been married for five years. Dr. Rainwater enjoys being with his wife, extended family, and friends above all other things.
