Sierra Lawhon, MA, LPCA
I was born in Florence, SC and lived in Darlington, SC all of my childhood. After graduating highschool I attended local community college and worked as a waitress part-time. I later transferred to FMU, and graduated with a BA in Psychology with minors in Sociology. I met and married my husband while in college, and we had our first child. While attending FMU I worked part-time at a local gym, and physical fitness remains a passion of mine. After completing my undergraduate degree I began working for the State. I worked at FDTC in Student resources for accessibility and disability. I then later took a job with Vocational Rehabilitation as a Job Coach and worked closely with the Transitional Counselor to help assist and place students with disabilities to gain successful employment. While working for Vocational Rehabilitation, we had our second child and I earned my Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling, from University of South Carolina. After Graduating I became a stay at home mom and earned my License as a Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA). I recently joined the LifeCare Psychology group, and I knew God had his perfect plan for me to work with such an amazing group.
